One of the mates on the boat said I really have a thing for disaster at sea fiction. I said it made me feel better about my life in the classroom. It is true. I am totally obsessed with books about the sea. Even after I hated the sea and being on a boat and I thought all my dreams unrealistic I am still immersing myself in Aubrey books and you tube videos of ambient marine sounds.
I need a good party to cheer me up. A good dance and to feel good about myself. Just because I am not a sailor, doesn’t mean I am not worth the while. Teaching still gets a lot of respect…now and then.
